Presented here is a small selection of images from a documentary on the architecture of American Embassies that records the diverse portfolio of properties reflecting the two-hundred-year diplomatic history of the United States of America. The photography was shot between 2000 and 2002 in sixty countries. The resulting book was published in 2005 as BUILDING DIPLOMACY, THE ARCHITECTURE OF AMERICAN EMBASSIES (Cornell University Press).
